Here’s a great tune from Hank about the Pan American train line that ran from Cincinnati down to New Orleans. The Pan American was made famous in the South by Nashville radio station WSM’s broadcast of the passing train’s whistle, which Hank’s tune mentions. (WSM, as you know, is the home of the Grand Ole Opry.)
